Autumn surprise

Sometimes, it seems too much of an ordeal to grab the three kids and the sleep-deprived stressed husband for a family outing. It just takes a long time to pack our things. And then there's the misunderstandings. Husband asks for me to prepare the cash and I hear, "Take the cell phone." We arrive at the corn maze with a cell phone and little money.  After a little brainstorming, I remember that I have some cash stashed in the car!

The actual maze was okay. The blue sky, however, was beautiful. I also did not know that this farm had a nature trail with a long stream going through it.

We're enjoying mushrooms more since we've read Katya's Book of Mushrooms.

Of course the kids enjoyed seeing the animals best. I love that this place is only ten minutes away from our home!
