All the experimental knots with wool roving and play silks (in our case Korean bo-jah-gee) and braids (three pipe cleaners twisted on top) have lead to tying of laces and braiding of hair. I love how so much of learning can be self-led, painless, and natural. I still have yet to learn how to french braid.
