Again

The night music has resumed. We relocated a bird feeder and are looking forward to seeing some birds. Actually, I am getting anxious because I haven't seen one eat from it for days!

On another note, we've befriended several neighbors who are more than happy to share their love of flowers, trees, and birds. We identified a sycamore tree and golden rod. One lovely couple used to be the director of several museums and has some rare trees in his yard. And almost a direct neighbor shared that she sees flying squirrels and hummingbirds everyday. Now I have no excuse not to buy some hummingbird feeders for Koko, something she has really wanted this summer. I love the idea of seeing flying squirrels though the neighbor warned that we would see a lot of raccoons as well.

Edited to add: Koko just woke me up to show me that chickadees have showed up. Yay!
