I confess that I never made homemade lemonade in my life, but right when I was thinking of trying it with the kids, itty bitty love posted her lemonade activity!
It was so much fun for the kids. We talked about vocabulary like "sour" and "sweet" in both English and Korean. And when the spoons were not doing the intended job of getting the seeds out, Koko changed the plan to use chopsticks. And of course they poked each lemon half with a chopstick and played "rocket ships"!
I was surprised how sour the lemonade was and how much sugar it needed to make it palatable. I ended up going easy on the sugar, and just enjoyed the cold and refreshing drink. As for the kids, they drank a little of the juice, and then moved on to play with something else. Again, the kids prove to me again and again, how they are all about the "process" versus the "product".

You mean palatable, not palpable, right?
