| This lamb was a friendly fellow. |
| The girls were fascinated that the kids would suck their fingers thinking they were milk. |
The days have gone by with a flurry of activities--ballet recitals, zoo and farm visits, nature center classes, and our first carnival of the season (our second ever) not to mention garage sales that the girls seem to like as much as I do. But we're also enjoying the long and short stretches of quiet--mud cookies and cake making in the backyard, much romping around with a certain naughty dog, and walks around our neighborhood. We've seen a hawks circling two nests, a duck nest that was sadly broken in by some other animal, and today, the elusive frog in the pond next door was discovered for the first time.

So I guess the "Summer so far" post is gone right now (or simply not visible anymore)? I was trying to reply to your comment but found the page lacking, er... missing. At any rate, I couldn't help but think of David Crowder's version of John Mark McMillan's song. Some more info on that tune below:

oops. My mistake. It wasn't intentional. I do need to spruce up my blog a bit...
And wow, that song has a lot of history. Did you listen to the testimony?
Yup, listened to the testimony, too, but not sure if I'd go back to it again and again. (Maybe it was too mushy for me?) But, yeah... fully licensed episodes of Kare Kano on Hulu, yo (till 11/30/2011)... check it out!
