Simpler
Inspired by Simplicity Parenting, Kyrie's wise words, and a seasoned homeschooling mother, these past few months I have been pursuing a simpler, slower-paced way of learning for my children. I can't say that this approach is the best way for everyone, but I feel that it's right for my family for this season in life. More than anything, I am realizing that it's not the curriculum or educational philosophy that matters so much as everyday modeling--being the person you want your child to be. Everyday, I am humbled by my children, my own weaknesses, and God's incredible grace. And I am thankful for so many of you who have inspired me throughout this homeschooling journey to have the courage to actually homeschool!

I get this sense of peace from your last few blog entries. Glad to read your new philosophy of modeling. =)
It is a journey, Becky! You are building into your kiddos lives the love and nurturing that they could never get outside the home...even if you fall victim to the safety net of structured curriculum :) once in a while. You are doing a great job!
Farmhouse hugs to you~
