Cooperative learning at its best. Here's Koko holding the strip of card paper for Cheeky to cut. For beginner cutters, you want to guarantee success. After having success cutting strands of play dough, you can move on to cutting narrow strips of card stock. Thin paper is too hard to cut.

Cheeky in action. This is a great confidence builder.

Afterwards, Koko felt inspired to do some cutting of her own.

And while I was napping, she taped some paper together and created a made-shift imaginary continent. I should have asked what exactly this was supposed to be.

And she stapled a bunch a paper by herself and made several books for her Chicago friends.

She tells me that sometimes she likes to scribble like a baby. Like Cheeky. Apparently, the picture above is a balloon, her as a baby in my womb, and a pillow.
