This Corelle doll has been the object of desire in my household for some time. Bitter fights between my two children have ensued to get possession of her.

To remedy the previous doll's fudliness, I have convinced my mother to purchase these beautiful
Bamboletta dolls that I have admired from afar for such a long time as a combined gift for their Christmas and birthday present. I have to say that I love the dedication and love Christina, Bamboletta's creator and founder, puts in making these dolls. She consulted me on various occasions to make sure that these dolls were just the ones I envisioned. There's nothing plastic about the big doll. Even the clothes are handmade. And I was delighted with the package of red beeswax that she thoughtfully included as well as the beautiful card and another set of clothes. She even included a package of handmade soap as a gift to me because, as she wrote in the card, mamas need gifts, too. And did you notice the doll's spare set of clothes?

This doll is 17 inches and has such a cheerful and sweet face. I can't wait for Koko to get her hands on her!

This is Cheeky's doll. Christina sewed this hat which can easily be snipped off later so that Cheeky wouldn't be tempted to chew on her hair. The doll is cuter when the hat is off because it is so wild and full, but I think Christina's concern is valid. She doesn't like to put plastic in the dolls at all unless she feels that it's absolutely necessary and as a result, the only pieces of plastic in this doll are the screws that make the doll's arms and legs move, but stay on. She said it was more sturdy than the buttons she had used previously. So, aside from the screws inside the small doll, both dolls are entirely non-toxic! The red bodysuit is made of organic velour and under it, this baby has a diaper. So adorable. You can read more about the
materials she uses in these dolls here.
Sometime next year, I'm going to have my interview with Christina from Bamboletta Dolls posted here so check in soon!
