Turtle I am, there is no way I am going to do everything I would like to do this Christmas. So there's next year.
Anyway, to keep my muddled brain on check, I will list what I wanted to do so that next year, I'll have a running start. Ha, ha.
1.I would like to make these adorable elf stockings and maybe some other things here. Hmmm...must first learn the back stitch.(Later edited: This year we went by with daddy's soccer socks.)
2. Purchase or make a nativity set. I'm looking at this cute puzzle nativity set as well as this brightly-colored puzzle set. Why puzzles?I have no idea, but these are the ones I gravitate towards. This inexpensive puzzle would make a great stocking stuffer for Cheeky next year. Though I also like the idea of making an nativity flannel board like this or even a cookie nativity scene with these cookie cutters.
3. Make an advent calendar and have simple activities in some receptacle.
4. Embroider my children's hand prints.
5. Obtain a Christmas tree.
6. Print out these vintage paper dolls. If you have a daughter who is old enough to not chew on paper, print these out!
On the same note, if you happen to see random summer posts, just know that I'm trying to update my blog which is a scrapbook of sorts before the new year. I told you, I'm slow!

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one with a to-do list for next Christmas! Making a more permanent advent calendar and printing those exact paper dolls are 2 of the MANY things on my list :) I've been looking for your blog for a few days, so I'm glad I finally found it (it finally occured to me to just find a comment that you'd left on my blog and click on it...duh!)
