On a whim, I decided to do the basic Christmas paper chain with
Koko and Cheeky tonight. Then, inspiration struck and I thought we should decorate the chains! How did I never think of this before?
Mini craft punches add a festive flair to the chains. I think I need to stock up on more! And it's great for the pincer grasp as well.
Glitter glue and the cutouts from the punches make decorating a breeze!
Koko and Cheeky also enjoyed gluing the cutouts with a glue stick.
We used Crayola marker stampers, markers, and craft scissors to decorate chains as well. Though I have to say,
Koko enjoyed spreading out the glitter glue with a paintbrush best. The
possibilities are endless! I used a stapler to make these chains, but
here's a cool chain activity that goes without one!
Now I need to finish the nativity scene.

I remember making some of those links back in grade school. Musta carefully glued the rings together back then.
