Uber Cool Red Rod Extension and Maze Progress

Here is an extension done with red rods. I actually have a Montessori directress come to my house once a week to demonstrate some Montessori extensions for me. She's one of my closest friends in the world and has been blessing me with her presence on a weekly basis ever since I've had KK almost four years ago. She would help me with some housework, even cook dinner, give me a word of encouragement from the Bible, and listen to all the frustrations I was having being a new mom. And with her 20 plus years as a preschool directress and now as an 1-6 directress, she has been helping me understand the Montessori philosophy and even how to be a more respectful mother. What's the best thing about her? She never pushes her beliefs on me. Even when I was a non-Montessori teacher myself, she never imposed her Montessori learning except when I specifically asked.


KK is still trying to figure out how to make the maze by herself. She does not want my help and has asked me to not present it to her because she will learn it on her own. It keeps on getting closer!
