Snails and tadpoles from the rice paddies. We released them almost immediately.
This mountain has a special place in our family's heart. My husband explored it from childhood and even I have many memories there. I looked at the persimmon trees wistfully because I knew I wouldn't be there when they ripened. Next time we visit Korea, we hope to go hiking here with the children.

Moving through your post, I wondered where you found a mountain with bamboo groves nearby.... Korea! Hope you had a lot of fun and took many memorable pictures. =)
