Geography Flags

I'm sure you've seen this Ikea bead set before. I was impressed with the flags my friend's daughter made with the beads. This requires a lot of concentration and fine motor skills, but she had so much fun creating these flags.

Koko has recently developed an interest in flags so we will be studying them in the new year! My in-laws had sent me and my sister-in-law a series of books to share with our kids. Included were many world classics that conveniently had flags next to the author's information and that must have interested Koko. Gee, I feel a little sheepish to realize that Pinocchio was an Italian story and Puss in Boots a French one.
