Origami

Koko was fixated with making this boat. She would unravel the boat her dad made her and try again and again to recreate it. She still hasn't mastered it but is close. She sure is better than me. Seeing her interest, I searched for my dusty Let's Fold.

It's targeted for two year olds but I'm a little embarrassed to say that I was confused at some of the pages. Still, it was fun for the kids though Cheeky seems to enjoy cutting more than the actual folding.

Thankfully, a friend who actually knows origami demonstrated how to do a puppy, and after watching her, Koko went ahead and made one.

I used to love origami as a kid! But more than folding them, I loved the vibrant colors and feel of the square sized papers!
