So, I saw all these nuts at a grocery the other day, and thought it would be perfect for sorting. I thought all the nuts would be too hard for Cheeky, but she was able to do it! Little ones grow up so fast. Yesterday, she successfully pedaled around her older sister's tricycle.
And, for a follow up activity, I am going to hammer away on the nuts so we can see the inside and then do a matching activity where you match the edible inside core with the whole. Incidentally, most of these nuts are actually seeds and fruits.
