Montessori Monday

So far, Koko is not really into building towers with the knobless cylinders, though little Cheeky likes to stack a few. I do notice that Cheeky is much more faster in the art of stacking than Koko ever was. Is it the early exposure to Montessori equipment or having an older sister? Probably both.
They both like doing the knobbed cylinders and here is Koko trying to do all four at the same time.

And just recently, we started putting the knobless cylinders in the knobbed cylinders structures. I wasn't even going to bother because I thought I recalled Jo saying that hers got stuck so I was pleasantly surprised to see that they fit! Well, almost all of them except for one green cylinder. Anyway, the knobless and knobbed cylinders are supposed to be complimentary while apparently, you're not supposed to use knobless cylinders with the pink tower and brown stair. Oops! I am moving the "sets" together to deter from any future misuse and I had to reshuffle all my Montessori equipment to put all the sensorial together, etc. I am a bit slow.
Insider Tip: If your cylinder does happen to get stuck and it will happen, using a metal chopstick from the bottom on the bottom holes should do the trick.

Check out what Shannon's Montessori Monday!

Josh is still not too big on using our knobless. If you need the extension sheets let me know and I can email them to you!
